Lauren DeGrazia, LMSW, is a clinical social worker who focuses on Preschool and Kindergarten children that struggle with social and emotional regulation.
For over 15 years, her speciality has been working with little kids addressing feelings, coping strategies, and communication skills.
Along with our Kindergarten Social Club, she runs a Preschool Social Skills group and a Parent Strategy group throughout the year.
What is kindergarten social club
The group will be for kindergarten age children interested in expanding their social and play skills with peers in an accepting and gentle environment. There will be an emphasis on social emotional development in areas such as interaction skills, social thinking concepts, and problem solving.
Is my child a fit?
The group is geared toward kindergarten-aged children who seek practice with and exposure to peer interactions and play, as well as modeling and support, in a safe setting
What Can I expect From the Social Club
The group will consist of both structured and unstructured play and group experiences, opportunities for crafts, support and modeling as well as intervention to develop and increase skills.
